Velo opened in May 2008. It has been lauded as the best restaurant in Rockland County and was awarded Metromix Hudson Valley Restaurant of the year 2009. Velo, which in French means bicycle, is the result of Anthony’s passion for cooking and cycling. The decor reflects this love. Velo is a restaurant that serves mixed cuisines, and it’s located right off Nyack’s main street. The restaurant serves exceptional food and wine, including up to 20 wines by the glass. All menu items are made fresh in house, including all pastas. It is lively and urban-like, but cozy. Velo will provide first-class service and a delicious menu that will awaken your senses.
